About ChatRow

Users​ ​can create​ ​chat​ ​rooms​ ​and​ ​invite their​ ​friends,​ ​who​ ​then​ ​participate​ ​in​ ​a​ ​group​ ​poll​ ​of​ ​the​ ​initial​ ​user’s​ ​choosing.​ ​They​ ​then​ ​find​ ​out which​ ​of​ ​their​ ​friends​ ​had​ ​different​ ​opinions​ ​from​ ​their​ ​own,​ ​and​ ​are​ ​given​ ​the​ ​option​ ​to​ ​start​ ​a discussion.​

Our Goal

How might we incentivize people to find out more information about different viewpoints on controversial subjects in order to prevent them from making hasty, ill-informed judgments, and generalizations in a less hostile manner?
